    Install Driftiva Dev build 66.

    Use an ARM64 phone with Android 11 or newer. Open the downloaded APK in Files and allow installation when prompted. Install over your existing app to keep saved runs and calibration data.

    Open the hosted app.

    After installing, open this page on your phone and use the link below. If needed, enter https://metro-dev.driftiva.com in the development launcher. An internet connection loads the app; your computer can stay off.

    Sign in and enable sharing.

    In Settings, use your testing account and enable sharing for future runs. Shared runs and calibration sensor traces include GPS locations and raw measurements. The phone keeps its local logs; Settings can export a snapshot of every retained calibration and run. Recording also works without signing in.

    Calibrate your mounting position.

    For a Bluetooth enclosure, first connect it in Settings → Measurement device. Street uses the phone’s GPS; a GPS-equipped device supplies its own fixes. Add and select a track, enable precise location, and wait outdoors for GPS ready. Secure the active measurement device and choose Calibrate mount while parked on reasonably level ground. Hold still, then gently accelerate forward in a straight line. Calibration completes automatically; keep your hands off the phone while moving.

    Check the mount, then record.

    Before each run, check that the phone has not moved. The reminder stays beside Start Run. Alignment has no time limit within the same motion session and stays ready as you visit History or Settings. After switching apps, locking the phone or restarting, refresh heading with a short straight drive before recording. If you move or remount the phone, choose Recalibrate mount.

    Stop & Save, then keep the app open with internet access while it uploads. History shows transfer progress and the server result. Mounting mode is experimental; physical driving accuracy is still being evaluated.

To check offline recovery, load the app first, disconnect while recording, save, then reconnect and keep the app open. The upload resumes from its last confirmed chunk.
